Service Offerings

CA/Automic

The CA/Automic is an Applications Manager software package that automates processes and task scheduling for distributed environments. Developers can use it to automate enterprise job scheduling and integrate applications, primarily related to the Banner production database. Clients are able to view their jobs' progress and results via a web-based interface. See the Additional Information tab for features.

A Service Level Agreement (SLA) governs customer and Database Support group interactions related to this service. Access to CA/Automic is available on campus and from off-campus via VPN.

Dynamic Forms

Dynamic Forms (DF) provides a simple way for non-technical users to take any paper-based form and quickly build an electronic form that can be shared with a link. This secure e-sign/workflow solution allows users to focus their time and energy on helping students, and not on manually moving documents.

EASD team manages DF for Mason and assists many departments in taking advantage of it. We not only create new forms and train new users on how to take advantage of what DF has to offer, but we also maintain over 2000 existing forms for our users.

Ellucian Workflow

Ellucian Workflow is a web-based forms designer with powerful workflow capabilities. Workflow is designed specifically to address the unique needs of higher education through connectivity using Ellucian Ethos Integration tool with Banner system of records. This combination empowers users with a web-based forms designer that is more functional, easier to use, and less code-driven than other options. Ellucian Workflow’s ease of use dynamically changes the approach to workflows at an institution, and the processes that drive them.

Salesforce

Salesforce is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that Mason uses and plans to expand its utilization to provide a full network of services to meet the needs and improve the experience of students.
